Our 2026 Rainforest Maze

Journey into the world’s rainforests in this year’s brand-new maze adventure.
Created to celebrate the incredible diversity of rainforest wildlife and Sir David Attenborough’s 100th birthday, our 2026 maze is packed with fascinating discoveries, fun challenges and plenty of adventure for all ages.
Whether you’re putting your navigation skills to the test or simply enjoying the experience together, our Main Maze and Mini Maze offer something for everyone, whether you’re a first-time explorer or a seasoned maze enthusiast.
Every visitor receives a maze map, activity card and stickers to help guide them on their adventure.

Pick Your Own Flowers

One of the highlights of summer at Lichfield Maize Maze is the opportunity to wander through our beautiful flower fields.
Different flowers and varieties reach their best at different times throughout the summer, which means there is always something new to discover whenever you visit. Stroll amongst the sunflowers, explore our colourful wildflower meadow and pick your own flowers to take home as a lovely reminder of your visit. Visitors are welcome to pick as many or as few as they’d like, then simply pay for the stems or bunches they’d like to take home before leaving.

A few things to know before you pick:
  • Bring secateurs if you have them. We have a small number available to borrow on site.
  • A bucket or bag is useful for carrying your flowers home.
  • Gardening gloves can be helpful.
  • Flowers are priced per stem or bunch and can be purchased before you leave.

Play & Explore

There’s plenty to keep everyone entertained once you’ve completed the maze.
Children can climb our straw bale towers, dig in the giant sandpit, enjoy a game of Swingball or traditional garden games, or head to the mini tractor yard, while others relax with a picnic or enjoy the open space and countryside.
All play areas are supervised by parents or carers.

Food & Drink

Whether you’re bringing a picnic or treating yourself to something from Field & Flower Café, there’s plenty of choice during your visit.
The café serves a selection of hot and cold drinks, sandwiches, cakes and ice creams, and you’re very welcome to bring your own picnic to enjoy in one of our picnic areas.
